The arrival of spring
This Wednesday, September 22, at 4:21 pm (Brasília time), the Spring period begins in the Southern Hemisphere, also occurring the second equinox of the year, when day and night have approximately the same duration, 12 hours.
Spring is the season typically associated with the resurgence of terrestrial flora. The seasons are mainly marked by the way the sun's rays hit the hemispheres. In addition to temperature, one of the effects that show the seasons is the variation in the lengths of the days, that is, the amount of time the Sun stays above the horizon.
Equinox and Solstice are astronomical phenomena related to the apparent movement of the Sun and that mark the beginning of the seasons. The equinox occurs at two times of the year, marking the beginning of autumn and spring, and the solstice marks the arrival of winter and summer seasons.
SPRING FOR BEES
Spring begins the period of reproduction of many trees and plants, which makes it known as the Season of Flowers, marking the beginning of changes, and the reheating of the climate after winter.
The bees, at this time, leave the post-winter period of seclusion, and become much more active, considerably increasing the reproductive cycle of the plants, as they intensively start collecting nectar and pollen, visiting more than 500 flowers during the day. .
With the arrival of this new season, the Hives become more agitated with many activities for the bees to perform, the period is also very conducive to greater honey production marking the season of the first crop of food.
