BALDONI's participation in the 46th Apimondia International Apicultural Congress, held from September 8 to 12, 2019 in Montreal - Canada, was accompanied by a gold medal for the MasterChef Flavor in the category honey added (products made with honey) and silver medal for the new Baldoni Organic Honey Jar 300g in the category display product (design of packaging).
APIMONDIA is held every two years in different countries, where beekeeping specialists from all over the world are present. During Apimondia there are three simultaneous events: the Apimondia Congress – workshop with issues inherent to the sector; Apiexpo – an exhibitor fair with the presence of industries and suppliers in the sector, where Brazil figures prominently; it's the WBA - World Beekeeping Awards – the largest bee product competition in the world, with several categories. In this edition, Baldoni competed in two categories, and was awarded in both.
The sample of Saboramel MasterChef, sent for analysis by the judges, is identical to the one sold in the Brazilian market, however, inside the new 400g pot. Saboramel MasterChef won the gold medal, competing against 19 products from several countries such as Australia, Canada, Russia, Slovenia, Brazil, Poland and the United States.
As for the 300g Baldoni Organic Honey Jar, it won a silver medal, on account of the innovation, beauty and practicality of the new glass jar and metallic clasp with trigger. Products from countries such as Russia, Slovenia and the United States competed in this category.
In addition to the judges, who evaluated and recognized the products at the WBA, the public at ApiExpo also had the opportunity to taste Saboramel jellies, check out the modernity of the new Jarra Baldoni and be enchanted by the products. Baldoni received several distinguished visits, including that of Rubens Gama, Consul of the Brazilian Embassy in Canada, and its commercial representative, Paulo Magalhães. Everyone could check out why these products were winners.
THE 47th Apimondia, the next edition of the event, will take place from September 20 to 25, 2021, in Bashkortostan, Russia. See you there!
